OPENING RECEPTION this SATURDAY, MARCH 6TH 2010 FROM 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
I've been a busy bee making art for the group show called "Unleashed:The art of Naughtydog" It is a group of us from work that are putting in our own personal non-videogame art.
I have been taking a sculpture workshop on Monday nights for months now and put in two pieces that I finally finished. One is for the Haiti Relief fund and the other is a response to my life spent behind a computer that is kind of tongue-in-cheek. Hope you like. -
Comic Con
lolly (https://www.deviantart.com/lolly) asked DanLuVisiArt (https://www.deviantart.com/danluvisiart), delSHARK (https://www.deviantart.com/delshark) and me to be at the dA booth in artist alley this weekend at Comic Con. I usually make it out to Comic Con every year but have never been at the other side of the table. This is really cool and will be good for me to learn to be more vocal here on dA. I have always stayed in the sidelines,more of a lurker. I have been a professional videogame artist for 7 years and am always scouting dA for talent. I love when I can hook up a talented artist with a job that fits them. There are so many wonderful artists on dA, it leads me to wonder- Why me?

They put together events all over L.A. for artist. They usually have live music,costumes and create an entire themed atmosphere. This week Friday it's Tiki Warrior 10pm to 2am in Venice California on Washington street. I think it's a fantastic idea and if your city doesn't have one it is really easy to set up. I know because I started one myself at my work. I call the model she comes to pose and all the artist drawing just pool there money together. We only have a stereo and a light on a stand but you could make it more if you wanted.Quick gesture poses also really he

If I typed it all up it would be as long as one also so, I'm going to have to summarize some life and death moments to prevent any "to long, didn't read" responses.:) I hope it doesn't seem too callous.
Ten days ago my father passed away suddenly.I flew from L.A. to Wisconsin to meet my Uncle and sister to drive up to Michigan for the funeral.We wanted to console our poor grandmother,my father was the third son she has lost to alcoholism.The next day we drove back to Wisconsin spent time with old friends.
On the flight back home,my sister and I talked of many things including weddings,family and funerals. I never had wanted to get marrie

hey, i actaully have a mother teresa quote in one of my journals too, and i kept thinking about taking it down. despite my own non-theist views, i still can't help but harmonize with some of her 'sayings'. i can still understand that it can get annoying, with consideration that mother teresa was an extremist in many ways; it sort of feels like anything good shes ever said about life and whatever is instantly contradicted in remembrance of her strong religiuos belief. definitly irking. sorry for the novel...
